Privacy Policy

InterviewMate ("we", "us") is a live mock-interview practice service operated by VARTANA (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED — the company behind ManifestJob — registered in India. This page explains what data we collect, why, where it goes, and what control you have — in plain language, because that is how we would want it explained to us.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google (or an email sign-in link), we receive your name and email address. We never see or store a password for InterviewMate.
- Practice inputs. The company, role, job description, and (optionally) the CV you provide for a session. Uploading a CV is always optional.
- Session recordings and transcripts. Your practice interviews are voice conversations. We record the audio and keep a transcript so we can score the session and show you your report and playback later.
- Reports and scores. The feedback generated for each session is stored with your account so you can track progress.
- Payment details. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of what you purchased; we do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, or bank credentials.
- Usage data. Basic analytics such as pages visited, device type, and session events, used to fix problems and improve the product. Our public pages also use Google's advertising tag for conversion measurement.
How we use it
- To run your practice sessions and generate your scored reports.
- To maintain your session history, wallet balance, and subscription.
- To send service emails — reports, practice reminders, and account notices. Marketing-style reminders include an opt-out, and we honour it.
- To provide support when you contact us, and to investigate failed sessions (for example, crediting your minutes back when a session fails for technical reasons).
- To improve our question bank and product. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Who processes your data
Running a live voice product requires specialist infrastructure. Your data is processed by these categories of providers, only to deliver the service described above:
- Google (Firebase / Google Cloud) — sign-in, database, and file storage.
- LiveKit — the real-time voice connection during a session.
- Speech and language providers — during a session your audio is transcribed and interview responses are generated and spoken by third-party speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and language-model services acting on our behalf.
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Amazon Web Services — transactional email delivery.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage for things like your sign-in session and theme preference, and cookies set by Google for sign-in and advertising measurement on public pages. We do not run third-party tracking beyond this.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account data, session history, and reports while your account is active, so your practice history works as designed. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing admin@manifestjob.com from your registered email. We will confirm once deletion is complete.
Your choices
- Practice without uploading a CV — it is always optional.
- Opt out of reminder emails using the link in any such email.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by email.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
