Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of InterviewMate ("the service"), operated by VARTANA (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us") — the company behind ManifestJob — registered in India. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. We have written them in plain language on purpose.

What the service is

InterviewMate provides live, voice-based mock interview practice built on a curated question bank for specific companies and roles, followed by a scored report. It is a practice and preparation tool: it does not guarantee interview selection, job offers, or any hiring outcome, and its feedback is not professional career, legal, or HR advice.

Your account

• You sign in with a Google account or an email sign-in link. Keep access to that email secure — it is how your account is identified.
• You must provide accurate information and be able to form a binding agreement (or use the service with a guardian's consent).
• You are responsible for activity on your account.

Practice minutes, packs, and subscriptions

• You can start free. Paid usage is measured in practice minutes, purchased as one-time packs or through a subscription. Current prices are always shown in the product before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Customers in India are billed in Indian Rupees; customers outside India are billed in US Dollars. VARTANA (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED is the seller of record for these orders and appears on your statement and receipt. Your bank may apply its own currency-conversion fee on an international charge.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the paid billing period. Plan upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades apply from your next billing cycle.
• Practice minutes are credited one billing month at a time. On an annual plan you receive each month's minutes at the start of that month.
• Practice minutes may be subject to a daily usage limit so that live interview capacity stays available to everyone. Where a limit applies it is shown in the product, applies to all accounts on the same terms, and never reduces the total minutes you have bought.
• Minutes already credited to your wallet are not clawed back, including goodwill credits we grant when a session fails for technical reasons.
• Refunds and cancellations are described in our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

• Use the service for genuine interview practice. Do not attempt to abuse free credits, resell access, scrape or bulk-extract the question bank, disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is malicious or unlawful.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused paid balance.

Your content and our content

• Your CV, your spoken answers, and your session recordings remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to process them to run sessions, generate reports, and operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• The question bank, sample answers, reports format, software, and branding are owned by us. You may use your own reports freely; you may not republish or resell our question bank or content.

Honest limits of the service

• Session feedback is generated with the help of automated speech and language systems. It is designed to be useful practice signal, but it can be imperfect — treat scores as guidance, not verdicts.
• Live voice sessions depend on your device, microphone, and network. Where a failure is on our side, our policy is to credit your minutes back (see the Refund Policy).
• The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update the service and these terms. For material changes we will update this page and the date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
